Logistic buildings are back into fashion
In the vicinity of Sofia Airport which has always been a centre for logistic companies, operators, distributors and importers a few new office blocks are a token of change. The last undeveloped territory with fast transport connection with the capital city downtown should become a new business and administrative centre. The downturn in the demand for this type of real property changed or at least delayed this transformation. But one of the first major projects in this zone should prove that a more traditional concept for logistic space can be successful even now.The company BHK is currently building the seventh already block on the territory of the complex on a total area of 70,000 sq. m.The new building will offer about 6,000 sq. m logistic space on the ground level. The investment will amount to about EUR 5m.Project manager is K&K Engineering, general contractor is Markan, the design was prepared by HIT-95 with leading architect Yordan Hristov.
