This cabinet did the right choice going for the highways as its priority.And today it is a fact that there are three lots under construction of Trakia highway of 115 km, while Lyulin highway - 19 km, is at full speed.There are also 11 lots of the Regional Development operational programme road scheme under construction of more than 250 km.The tenders for lot 1 of Maritsa highway from Orizovo to Dimitrovgrad have been launched as well as the tenders for the ringroads of Burgas and Kardzhali, for the road junction Burgas - Meden Rudnik.According to the minister of regional development Rosen Plevneliev there are under construction or preparation 177 km of highways, some more 100 km are to start.Several trends in the transport infrastructure started in 2010.The new projects by Transport operational programme are developing better, Trakia, Sofia - Kalotina and Super Burgas are among them.The railway projects are slower with the implementation and faster with the application forms.
