With a letter from 30 Sept. the National Agency for Road Infrastructure cancelled 21 projects from Regional Development operational programme. The projects are from the first scheme for rehabilitation of roads II and III class active since 1 Nov. 2007. The relaunch is a result of deep flows in the procedures and the papers. In the last issue of Stroitelstvo Gradat weekly were published the answers of the Ministry of Regional Development which exactly are the 21 road projects for what lots with names of municipalities and contractors. Among the names of the building companies are Roads Holding - Sofia, with four contracts in Montana, Lovech, Pleven and Plovdiv for a total of BGN 39,577,931 VAT excl. Patstroy-92 has one project in Sofia - a section of the capital city ringroad to Kovachevtsi for BGN 13,823,013. The company attacked by the parliamentarian anti-corruption commission is Infrastroy 2001 owned 49% by City Assset Management, and 51% by Vasil Bozhkov. It was awarded a contract for BGN 3.5m in Pernik.
