Federico Sutti is the Regional managing Partner for DLA in Italy and a Member of the DLA Piper Global Board. He has also coordinating responsibility for Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Austria.He has extensive experience in Corporate & M&A matters. In Real Estate he has advised Italian as well as foreign players (Gruppo Pasini in the acquisition of a formerly industrial area of over 1.5 million square meters located in the outskirt of Milan and Generali Properties in the acquisition of a logistic park of over 500,000 square metes located in Piacenza, Northern Italy).During the last ten years, he has also built an extensive experience in the PFI/PPP sector pioneering the use of project finance techniques in the Italian market assisting the Bovis Lend Lease Group in the first Italian PFI deal in the healthcare sector (Brescia Hospital).Following this first experience, he has assisted many major players in the Italian PFI/PPP market whether belonging to the private sector, the financing side and the public sector. Currently, among the others, he is assisting Regione Veneto in the procurement of 7 hospitals for an overall value of 2 billion as well as Infrastrutture Lombarde on the motorway Broni Mortara. He is also working on behalf of Turkish government on the first PPP project in the health care sector (Kayseri Hospital).
